Year 2 Trip to the Etihad
On Thursday both classes of year 2 enjoyed a visit to the Etihad stadium. We enjoyed seeing where the mighty Man City play, but this wasn't our focus. We were looking at what was there in the past. We found out it used to be the home of Bradford Colliery and then a massive redevelopment took place and The City of Manchester stadium was built for the Commonwealth games, hosted by Manchester in 2002. We even went for a tour of the Velodrome where they hosted the cycling. We had an amazing time taking the train and tram there. What an experience
