Year 5 History Trip to Weaver Hall
History Trip To Weaver Hall to take part in an Anglo-Saxon workshop.
Our Year 5 classes had an exciting trip to Weaver Hall, where they delved into the fascinating world of the Anglo-Saxons. The children explored hands-on exhibits, learning about daily life, crafts, and traditions of this historical period. They took part in interactive workshops, including making replica artefacts and decoding runes, which brought the Anglo-Saxon era to life. The children also took part in an archaeological burial, made clay models of an Anglo-Saxon Warrior and listened to an Anglo-Saxon Villager discuss how they lived and fought.
