Year 3 had some special visitors this week. Scientific Sarah and Exploding Erica came and delivered really exciting and engaging workshops to Year 3. The children had two workshops. The first one was consolidating all our learning from our Science and Geography topics all about rocks and earthquakes. We were able to touch and feel different types of rocks as well as create our own sedimentary rock bed that will eventually turn into rock in about a million years. Our second workshop was an introduction to our new Topic after half-term which is all about the Human Body. Children learnt about the skeleton and different organs that we have. They used stethoscopes to listen to each other's heart beats as well as how our body needs and uses energy.
