On Monday, the whole of year 2 enjoyed a sporty morning at the legacy trail hosted by the amazing and friendly students of Marple Hall school.  We took the train from Brinnington to Romiley and then boarded another to get to Rose Hill.  Year 2 were split into 4 teams, red, yellow, green and blue.  They worked hard within their teams to relay with hoops, balls and cones to complete different tasks.  All working together to share the Olympic values.  We all enjoyed a picnic lunch on the green and then walked back to the train.  As it was a super, sunny day we enjoyed ice lollies at the local park in Romiley before heading back to school on the train.  The local train volunteers at Romiley station commented on how lovely it was to see so many happy, polite children!  A lovely day was had by all.
