Reading

Reading is vital to learning.  Your child will read to their class teacher every week. Please also support your child by listening to them read every night and signing their reading diary, make sure that you ask plenty of questions so that you check that your child has understood what they have read. Once you have signed their reading diary and your child has read and re read their book your child will have their reading book changed.  

To encourage independence in Year Two, the children are responsible for changing their own reading book.
