In case of illness in school we always try to contact parents by telephone if possible, to arrange for you to collect the child, as there is no really comfortable, quiet place to rest in school.

 

Normal first aid is available in school for minor accidents, but in cases of real emergency, it is vital that we have a telephone contact number for every child…. We do not share this information with other agencies. Please let us know if you change any of your numbers. Hospitals are unwilling to administer treatment if a parent is not present. It is also very important that we know who is your child’s family doctor.

 

Medical conditions 

It is important that the school knows about any medical conditions which may affect your child’s progress. For example; eye defects, ear trouble, asthma etc. Please inform the Headteacher of any such problems.
