Admissions Policy

Westmorland Primary School is a recently expanded 2.5 form entry school with a place nursery based on site. There are 120 part time places in the nursery and 75 places in each year group. Nursery places are offered on a morning (8.40 - 11.40am) or afternoon (12.20 – 3.20) basis. Children are admitted to the Nursery in the term after their third birthday. Children are admitted to Reception class each September.

Parents or Carers have to apply through the town hall, Stockport Council website to get places in both nursery and then re-apply again for reception classes. Make sure you get your application in early, as places are limited and there is often a waiting list.

3. Children who live nearest to the school.
